The Risk-Taker

Be a risk-taker and go bold.

I can't even lie, I felt so fierce when I wore this look. Even if you're not big into wearing bold lips, I HIGHLY encourage you to still experiment with it often. I didn't think I would love this look as much as I did, but I'm so glad I made myself try it. That's what is so great about makeup, it is so easy to surprise yourself with looks you love if you just keep experimenting.

The foundation I used today was one I just recently picked up (I listed it down below). It is SUPER matte and SUPER full coverage. I love it for a full face like I did today, but I found that it only applies well with wet beauty blender/sponge. Because it is so "moussey" in consistancy, my foundation brush just made it streak which was not cute.

I broke out the old scotch tape method for my eyeshadow today. Just rip off a small piece of tape and apply it to the outer coners of your eye at an upward angle. This will help to create that sharp and dramatic line that you see on the outer edges of my eyeshadow.

1. I applied a little bit of concealer on my eye lid to act as a primer and base for the shadows.

2. I went in with a transition color. I chose "Milk Chocolate" from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. I took this shade all the way from outer crease to inner crease.

3. Next, I took a silver shade called "Shell-shock" from the Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette and applied it all over the mobile lid space.

4. I went into the very outer "V" of my lid and applied the color "Revolver" which is also from Urban Decay. I made sure to go back a blender brush to avoid any harsh lines. I slowly brought this color further into the crease and blended as I went

5. I went into "Blackout" from the Naked 2 Palatte and put it on the outermost part of my lid. Once again, I made sure to blend very well.

6. Lastly, I went into the "Revolver" shade and placed it on the outer corner of the lower lash line and blended.
